Amendment 4

Seminole County • Jun 08, 2020

Amendment 4 restores the voting rights of Floridians with felony convictions who have completed all terms of their sentence, including parole and probation. Amendment 4 does not apply to those convicted of murder or sexual offenses, who continue to be permanently barred from voting unless the Clemency Board vote to restore their voting rights on a case-by-case basis.

Any eligible Seminole County voter whose voting rights have been restored and wishes to register to vote can download the current Florida Voter Registration Application. The application should be printed, the required information filled out and signed, and returned to our office no later than 29 days prior to Election Day to be valid for the upcoming election.

In compliance with a recent court order, below are two documents that can further assist Floridians with felony convictions with the process of ensuring eligibility and registering to vote.
